Superpave
Developed under the Federal Strategic Highway Research Program, Superpave represents and improved system of asphalt production. By using materials designed to Superpave specifications roadways can be made more durable, safer and longer-lasting.
All three Greer asphalt operations are set up to meet Superpave mix designs. Our capacity to control limestone production ensures the aggregate used is also manufactured to meet size and structure requirements. This assures customers that our asphalt will always meet the requirements of Federally funded highway construction.
Located adjacent to Greer Limestone, Greer Asphalt is a computerized 5-ton batch processing plant. With three, 300-ton storage silos and on-site lab equipment Greer Asphalt is able to produce high-quality base and wearing asphalt mixes for use on driveways, parking lots and highways.
Buckeye Asphalt is located 12 miles north of Morgantown, West Virginia near the Pennsylvania state line. Buckeye Asphalt is a computerized continuous drum plant rated at 250 tons per hour. With two, 200-ton storage silos and an on-site lab Buckeye Asphalt produces high-quality base and wearing asphalt mixes for use on driveways, parking lots and highways.
Clarksburg Asphalt is conveniently located off I-79 in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Clarksburg Asphalt features three, 200-ton storage silos, a double-drum continuous plant and has the capacity to produce up to 400 tons per hour. On-site lab equipment means Clarksburg Asphalt is able to produce high-quality base and wearing asphalt mixes for use on driveways, parking lots and highways.
